The 6 Marine Lots are situated in the central part of the Town, and command prices peculiarly suited for the conduct of
Mercantile business.
The buildings to be erected on them will, I understand, be occupied by Firms from Canton, and firms in this Colony, whose places of business hitherto have been rented.
I consider the result of this sale conclusive proof of the established, increasing and growing prosperity of the Colony.
