The Executive Government offered no interference with this course, and I learn that Mr. Keenan was yesterday committed to take his trial on the charge before the next Criminal Sessions of the Supreme Court.
The Magistrate, I am told, showed great courtesy to Mr. Keenan, who entered into his own Recognizance for his appearance, in the sum of One Thousand Dollars.
The Sessions will take place on the 29th instant.
