After waiting two and a half years in the death cell in Los Angeles Gaol, Robert
James, sentenced to death for killing his seventh wife-after torturing her with rattlesnakes, has just bad his appeal refused by
Supreme the Californis Court. He was sentenced on September 10, 1938.
