D'Aguilar Hill,

60th Nov 1855.

My Dear Sir,

285

On your applying to the Magistrate W. Mitzlich, Esq., to have Madison sent on board the "Reindeer", he being away from duty, condescended to take my two written statements, and the following are M. Mitzlich's remarks on dismissing the case:

"The cause is dismissed, I have no power to give you a discharge from the ship, but after the treatment you have received I should advise you not to return to the ship."

The Honble.
