SOCCER INTERNATIONAL SPORT WASHED KEEN COMPETITION AT Tennis Cliampionships~
FINAL SEES PORTUGAL
SWAMPED BY CHINA
As anticipated, the holders (China) emerged victorious in their match against Portugal for the "Sunday Berald" Inter- national charity Cup. The score at the end of the first half, 5 to 1, and 9 to 2 when the final whistle blew, is an excellent Indication of the trend of the game. The. Chinese were com- plete masters of the match and, had they exerted themselves in the second half instead of being content to give an exhibition of their prowese, there is no doubt that their score would have been considerably higher.
The game
EL
Lee Wal-tong was always tricky and dangerous, but he was too closely marked to do much damage In the first part of the game Nevertheless he made up for that later by scoring two goals.

The fourth day of the "Bisley" meeting of the Hongkong Rifle Association yesterday was marred slightly by the morning rainfall, the wet conditions being not very comfortable.
The Blackdown and Camberley Competitions were the two main events, and some keen competition was witnessed. A four-mien tie for first place in the Cam- berley Class X (S.R. b) necessitated a shoot-off, and there were two other 'tles.
