Royal Scots Win Inter-Unit Championship At Second Day Of "Bisley" Meeting
The second day of the "Bisley" meeting of the Hongkong Rifle Association was held yesterday.
The Royal Scots won the Inter-Unit Championship of the Services Claybird Meeting, the individual title being won by Capt. E. Hyde, of the Manchester Rogt, after a tie with Major S. White, M.C.," of the Royal Scots. The Company Match was won by H.Q. Coy." Middlesex Regt, with a score of 350 points, against 323 by the runners-up. ·A meeting of the Hongkong Baseball, League was held at the Brook Club yesterday evening with Major Duclos in the chair. Others present were D. Walker. H. A. Barros. W. A. Bmith, R. Lau, J. Higgins and D. Leonard.
Entries for the League are as follow:-Chinese Baseball Club; Recreio; .B.; South China A.A.: Hongkong Baseball Club and U. S. 8, Mindanao. No further entries will be accepted.
The League has not received a reply from the Royal Naval Recreo- tion Club as yet but they hope they will have the use of the ground at Caroline Hill as ini past seasons.
The first game "will be played on Saturday, May 6, at 230 p.m. between U.B. and Club de Recreio. The ground rules were discussed and it was finally decided that they should be the same as during last year.
