The market opened 1/4 of a cent higher for all delivering as Compared with Saturday's closing quotations.
Very steady conditions prevailed throughout the day. Consimi- ing interests were fah buyer of "spot" Rubber; whilst traders and speculators were also displaying good buying-activity in futures. It was, however, dificult to arrange business due to the reserved at-a- titude of sellers.
Later in the session prices registered an advance of 3/8 cant for all deliveries on persistent further enquiries.
It would appear that the better sentiment was catbed by -- a more hopeful outlook on the international political situation.
Closing tone was steady.
