12. This office has always enclosed in a Box 250 properly packed in a separate Box. If this Office, I would suggest that two Lists be made of them, one to accompany the Pouches, the other to be kept here. The Governor could of course say in what way they are to be sent to the Audit.
This should be immediately done. And the circumstances of arrival of the Letters here must be inquired into: for which pouch you would walk in on the date of their arrival here, & the condition in which they arrived.
