up 1/4 The market opened 1/4 of a cent higher for all deliveries as com- pared with Monday's closing quotations.
Reflecting conditions prevalling in London and New York the, market ruled with a steady undertone throughout the session.
Despite a moderate demand for actuals" by London and New York dealers and speculators displayed fair buying interest in futures due to a relaxation of the European political tension.
After some business having been done on basis'of-quoted rates prices registered a gradual advance of 1/2 cent for all deliveries due to persistent further buying and short-covering. But even the higher price-level failed to attract selling to any largez extent, con- sequently only a moderate volume of business was transacted.
Closing tone was steady.
It was announced that total Malayan Exports for Feb, amounted to 43,084 tons as against 49,332 tons during January,
An unomcial forecast places the Total Malayan Rubber Exports. for March at 38,000 tons as against 43,084 tons actually shipped`dur-"'" ing February.
