Prof. Forster's Interesting Address To Rotarians
"THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT THE ENTHUSIASM FOR THE EXPANSION OF EDUCAT.ONAL WORK IN CHINA HAS BEEN DERIVED FROM THE UNITED STATES, where education is a really serious matter. No other nation in the world has the grandiose conception of education 35 x force for good in public life that one finds in the States. It is something new i elvilisation."
This striking tribute to one aspect of American life was paid by Professor L. Forster M.A. Professor of Education in the University of Hongkong. In the course of an instructive and in- teresting talk on "America-Some Impressions" which he gave to the Rotary Club at its weekly luncheon at the Hongkong Hotel yesterday.
