TRIBAL CLASS DESTROYERS The new destroyer Ashanti Cor mander W. G. Davis, left Takoradi on Mar. 6 for Gibraltar to rejoin the Home Fleet, arriving on March 17 after a call at Freetown. The Ashanti has been to West Africa to receive gifts of a silver bell and a golden shield, which were presented at an assembly of chlefs at Kumasi March 1.
