INCIDENT
CROWN SERGEANT H. N. MORAN, OF THE HONGKONG POLICE, appeared before Mr. R.. Edwards at the Central Court yesterday on a summons for assault on Li Cheong, house boy in the employ of Mr. R. A. D. Forrest. First Police Magistrate, Mr. M. A. da Silva conducted the prosecution, while Mr. E. IL. Wil- iams, Crown Counsel, appeared for the defence and pleaded not guilty. Mr. K. A. Bidmead, Assistant Superintendent of Police, was also present in Court.

LA Cheong further said that after the blow, which was a heavy one. defendant commenced to search him and the others and during the search, defendant said, "As you are' working with Mr. Forrest you should know the matter."
