27-1/2 27-3/4 Reflecting conditions prevailing" in London and New York the market opened 1/8 of a cent lower for all deliveries as compared with Monday's closing quotations.
Early in the morning the market ruled dull and oulet. There was only poor demand for "spot" Rubber from London and New York. In view of this fact dealers and speculators preferred to adopt n waiting polley.
Later in the session. the market turned easier due to some liquidation which, coming on a narrow market, caused prices to de- cline by 1/8 cent for all deliveries.
Closing tone was quiet.

Market dull and featureless. Rubber stocks held in the United Kingdom showed a decrease of 1.025 tons for the week ending February 6, 1930.
NEW YORK COTTON
Trading. on the whole, was quiet throughout the day. Prices declined on unfavourable Liverpool cables and Southern hedging. Both mills and foreign interests are shifting to distant months. The textile trade is poor. At the close, the undertone was somewhat steadier. The market is in a position to respond to any favourable Washington developments.

NEW YORK RUBBER There was some heavy offerings by dealers, which caused prices to decline rather sharply. A part of the offerings was absorbed by consumers. The trade was inactive, awaiting announcement of the quota.
CHICAGO WHEAT.
The market declined on Wall Street selling and liquidation. while foreign shipments continued heary.
