BING CROSBY
IN ROLE OF COWBOY
"Paris Honeymoon” At The Queen's
Bing Crosby, whose recording and screen. crooning has won thousands of admirers, may be seen at the Queen's Theatre in the role of a wealthy cowboy in Para- mount's newest comedy "Paris Honeymoon" in which he is ably assisted by Franciska Gaal and Shirley Ross.
In recent Alims Crosby has shown a decided fare for roles in lighter vein and in "Paris Honeymoon," he once more demonstrates his ability on these lines.
Miss Ross.is cast as an American beireas a rule to which she is. typically suited, while Miss Gaai is seen as the Rose Queen at the annual Rose Festival in Paris to where Crosby has gone to live in a castle pending the granting of a divorce for his bride-to-be by the French Court, Naturally complica- tions arise and these supply the mam comedy interest in the Alm:
Miss "Graal, however, is broken hearted and decides to marry her former employer, a role ahly taken by Akim Tandron. The rest of the story centres round Bing and his final reconciliation ·with Mirs Caul.
Directed by Frank Tuttle, with Edward Everett Horton, Ben Blue and Michael Visaroff in supporting roles, "Paris Honeymoon" is well | worth seeing.-CIRE"
