The market opened 1/4 of a cent lower for all deliveries as compared with Tuesday's closing quotations.
Quiet, and dull conditions prevalled throughout the day in sym- pathy with easler ädvices received from London and New York. There was a moderate demand for "actuals," whilst activity for trade and speculative accounts was at a low ebb.
Later in the session the market became slightly easier, prices de- some liquidation on a clining by 1/8 cent for all deliveries due to
