THE CRICKET LEAGUE SEASON gets under way to-morrow (weather permitting) with a full programme in the junior division. I have not a fixture list with me as I write and cannot therefore 'dis- cuss prospects for all the games on the eard.
It is probable, however, that one of the most interesting matches will be that between the Hongkong Cricket Club and the Indians an "A" the town ground It is more or less a tradition now that when the 2 senior teams of these two clubs einsh, it is worth going a long way to see, and of late, their second elevens have (comparatively speak- 1ng) sort of taken up that tradition,

Club de Recreio met Police 'B' on the same ground and defeated the eustodians of the law by three clear goals. The game was one- sided and uninteresting, the Police team seldom proving dangerous.
