I had the honor to address
you
on
in Despatch No. 146 of 5th September,
subject of the death of Mr. Selby late Chief Clerk in the Colonial Treasury.
I then mentioned the unfortunate
position in which his widow was placed
without
means to assist her on the
returning to England.
As she was within 4 months'
