Reflecting easier advices received from London and New York the market opened 1/4 of a cent lower for all deliveries as compared with Tuesday's closing quotations.
After the opening very dull and quiet conditions prevailed. De- mand for "spot" Rubber by principal consuming centres was moderate, whilst there was also very little buying interest displayed by dealers and speculators. It would appear that the market is affected by pre- holiday feeling, and consequently activity is expected to remain at a low ebb during the next few days.
During the last trading hour prices registered a slight advance of 1/8 cent for all deliveries due to some trade buying, the market closing with a quiet, but steady undertone.

advices reported American trade Paris Exchange
as having bought. Speculators soid to a small extent. The mar ket was steady. The market closed flrm with buyers at the quoted rate. American Silver was quoted at 42 3 4 for Spot.
The London New York cross- New rate was quoted at 466. 12. York London was quoted at 468. 15/16
