In an all-day friendly cricket match played at Happy Valley yesterday, Craigengower Cricket Club defeated the Volunteers by four wickets.

Of the Volunteers' total of 161, E. C. Fincher basted well for. 68 and with Perry (21) was respon- sible for a fourth wicket stand of 61.
