Lionel Roza-Pereira, the former Queen's College swimmer, and goe of the most popular members of the Victoria Recreation Club, won the open barbour race yesterday, beating the second man, A. K. Rum- Jahn by a matter of minutes!
In fairness to Rumjahn, however, it must be said that his per- formance was a most creditable one in that he employed the back stroke throughout the race.
