MID-WEEK SHOOT
Sgt. Hale Wins Net Spoon
Yesterday the Hongkong Rifle Association held the usual` mid- week spoon and practice shoot. This was marked by the excellent shouting of Sgt. Hale of the Middlesex Regiment who scored 99 out of a possible 105 using the SR. (b). Rifle.
As regards weather, yesterday was one of the worst days yet experienced. It rained most of the afternoon, and, at 600 yards the targets were at times, practically invisible. As can be seen, the scores at this range were not good, due only to the bad weather con- ditions.
