FIGHTING IS RAGING ON ALL FRONTS on the south bank of the Yangtse Biyer with increasing violence.

In the Julehang sector Moshan (Grindstone Hill). Hungshan and Maanchuan (Saddle Spring), strategic points on the highway leading from Juichang in Maton and Yangsin, remain the scene of bitter engagements. with the Japanese attacking these points being hurled back with heavy losses.
