Steady advices received from London and New York were res- ponsible for the market opening 1/8 of a cent higher for all de- liveries as compared with Friday's closing rates.
Throughout the session the market ruled qulet, but with a steady undertone. Demand for "apot" Rubber from principal consuming centres was fair, whilst also good enquiry for forward positions by dealers and speculators was in evidence, resulting in a fair volume of business transacted on basis of quoted rates.
