Acting upon steady conditions prevailing in London and New York the market opened 1/2 of a cent higher for, all forward. positions as compared with Friday's closing quotations.
After a steady opening the market became irregular due to the higher price-level attracting a considerable volume of profit-taking. Demand for "spot". Rubber, however, was fair.
