SUCCESSES IN FIRST THREE RACES OF DAY
Then Wins Lantao Handicap
On Red Feather
The second day of the Sixth Extrù Race meeting was featured by the fine riding of Mr. Donald Black who scored four wins, three in succession--the first three races of the day. His win on Arasy fetched hh backers $8290, the biggest dividend of the day. Be crowned his successes by winning the Lantao Handicap on Red Feather.
The Lantao llandicap was won by Red Feather, the number of "the winning ticket in the big cash, sweep being Ticket No. 161398
and the prize money $72,258.3-1.
Racing on the whole was very keen, some of the faishes being extremely close. The Lancashire Chap-Katinka čombination paid $38. The most successful owner was Mr. T. Lo who scored two firsts.
The first half of the season is thus brought to a conclusion and there will be no more racing unil September.
