Cantón. May 29.
Twenty-two Japanese warplanes again staged mass bombings on the city this morning and afternoon.
Different parts of the city were bombed but the planes for the mast part concentrated on Wongtha Station, which is the terminus of the Kowloon-Canton Railway, about 150 yards from Shameen. The station is now in smoking ruins.
Buildings in Yueh Wali Road,į Chang Pin Street, Tac Yuen Road, Kut Chang Road. Kwang Wal Road, Chang Wah Road. In Sal- 'kwan, and Sun Ho Po Road and Mel Wah Road, in Tingshan, suffered extensive damage.

Over 100 persons were killed and about 200 injured in the raids to- day.
Shortly after noon, 14 planes subjected the city to a further raid, when ten bonibs were dropped on Honam suburb.--(International).
