OXFORD FORCE A DRAW

E.J.H. Dixon In Form

After having had the worse of the first two day's play Oxford made such a splendid recovery In their second · innings that they were able to force a draw in their match against Yorkshire, writes a Home correspondent.

In

did the morning Oxford none too well, as at the luncheon Interval they were only five ryns to the good with half their batsmen out. A very different shory might have had to be told. had E. J. H. Dixon been caught at square-leg Just after the game was resumed and with his total

been less than 80. He had thorn in the Yorkshire bowlers' side.
