played 15 games and the second XV battled through 34 games which constitutes a very fine re- cord of organised exercise for a large body of players.
"The Triangular Tournament was won this, year. by the Royal Navy, and we congratulate them on their very excellent play throughout the season. I did not think it was possible for two teams to scrap so heartily in the middle of the festive season as did the Navy and the Club on New Year's Day..
