PARIS APRIL 1. ACCORDING TO REPORTS RECEIVED FROM THE FRANCO-SPANISH, BORDER, SEVERAL THOUSAND SPAMSI REPUBLICAN - MILITIAMEN HAVE FLED INTO FRENCH TERRITORY,

At the town of Luchon, in the department of Garonne Superieur, no fewer than 2,000 fugitives had arrived in the course of yesterday evening. They included many Spanish Republican soldiers, but there were also women, old men and children.

The mass influx of fugitives continues, and the Petit Parisien estimates that 6.000 Spanish Republican militiamen have already entered French territory."
