The second extra meeting of the Hong Kong Jockey Club at Hppy Valley on Saturday was, on the whole a disappointing affair, dividends and finishes not being high enough or of an exciting natuke enough to compensate for the dismal,conditions prevalling for the best part of the afternoon.

In comparison to the crowds allending the annual carnival and the first extra meeting a fortnight wo, the number of people at the course on Saturday was very small and cash sweeps never reached a higher prize than $2,300, except in the last race, the $2 gvent...
