YESTERDAY'S OFFICIAL QUOTATIONS
The market for the week was very active and a fair turnover was registered. "Most prices show an appreciable advance and at the close market ruled very firm, with an upward tendency.
In the Sterling section à suð- stantial quantity of Banks changed hands at from $1,480 to $1,500 while Unions were done at $503 for a fair quantity.
Mandla ruled steady and most stocks showed marked improve- ment for the week.
