NOVEL SWEETS AND PRESERVES

To refresh the early-morning palate, half a grapefruit is in- valuable.

A delicious refreshing jelly for the sweet course is made with grapefruit

Ingredients: 2 juicy grapefruits, A pint boiling water. 3 oz. sugar, 1 egg white, 1 oz. gelatine, 3 table- spoonfuls of cold water.

Dissolve the gelatine in the cold water,
