CHANGE IN UNIFORM It is notined in Admiralty Fleet Orders issued on November 28 that with the approval of the King an amendment to be made in the uniform regulations for officers so far, as they relate to the wear ing of ball dress.
After No. 2 uniform, ball dress," provision is made for No. 2A. "ball dress without epaulettes," to con- sist of the same articles as No. 2-- mess jacket, laced trousers, white waistcoat, etc. except that epau- lettes are not to be worn. No. 2A dress, is to be ordered for official or public balls, dinners, and evening receptions of a less formal 'nature than those at which No. 2 dress is to be worn.
EAST INDIES FLAGSHIP H.M.S. Norfolk, Captain J. M. Mansfield, will remain at Trin- comalee until December 18, and then proceed to Madras, where the flag of Vice-Admiral Sir Alexander Ramsay. NEW ZEALAND DIVISION The cruisers Achilles and Lean- der, the former with Rear-Admiral
E. R. Drummond, Commanding New Zealand Station, has returned to Auckland" from a cruise to Lyttelton. Akaroa, and Wellington. Later they will proceeded to the Hauraki Qult, joining up there with the other two ships of the squadron, the Lelth and Welling- ton. The Leaner left the Gulf on December 4, and the others on December 8, for Auckland.
CADETSHIPS AT DARTMOUTH
The next qualifying examination for the entry of naval cade's into the RN. College, Dartmouth, will be held in March, 1938. Candidates must be between the ages of 13 years 4 months and 13 years eight months on April 1, 1933. Applica- tions to sit for the examination | must be received at the Admiralty before January. 18. There will be approximately 45 vacancies.
TECHNICAL OFFICER REQUIRED A vacancy has arisen for a prin- cipal technical officer in the Ad- miralty Technical Pool, the place of duty being in the first instance at Woolwich Arsenal. Candidates should have a good bonours degree in either physics, applied mathe- matics.

THREE WEDDINGS
Three weddings took place at the Registry of Marriages, Supreme Court yesterday. The first and third ceremonies were performed by Mr. W. Aneurin Jones, Deputy Registrar of Marriages, and the second by Mr. T. S. Whyte-Smith, Registrar of Marriages.
In
the first eeremony. Miss Wong Moon Tổng, of No. 17 Mosque Street, second, floor, became the bride of Mr. Hol Yung Chan, of No. 14 Fort Street, first floor, In the presence of Messrs Hol Chow Chan and Charles Wong. The groom is the son of the late Mr. Chan Lai Sang, and the bride is the daughter of the late Mr. Wong Tsz Kan.
Miss Tsul Fun, of No. 5 Minden Avenue, daughter of Mr. Tsui Wins Yip, retired, was married to Mr. To Chi Yan, merchant, of No. 18 Po Kong Village, son of Mr. To Sing Lam teacher, in the second ceremony. The witnesses were Miss Dorothy Brazier and. Mr. H. W. Fraser.
The third contracting parts were Mr. Lau Wal Leung, secretary, of Messrs.
