The British rifte team. 14 of England's best marksmen, left Euston recently to compete in test matches with South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

The men will travel round the world and return to England in six menths.

This will be the third British

rife team to compete in ride matches in Australia, and it is the youngest ever to leave this country.

The average age of the team is 26, and it includes Mr. D. L Birney, who this year won the Ring's Prize at Bisley, and Mr. R. Fulton, son of Mr. Arthur Fulton, who is the only man to have won the King's Prize three times. ·

The team will be led by Cmdr. D. S. Swanston, "R.N., and will shoot against representatives of the Provinces of South Africa and the Australian States, as well as in the test matches.
