Shanghai, November 19: According to Chinese reports on the situation near Soochow to-day, the front running from Fushan to Changshu is still completely in the hands of the Chinese. It is only admitted that Changshu was severely pressed by Japanese troops while the Japanese claim to have captured Changshu early to-day. No mention is made in the Chinese reports about Japanese successes south of Taishu Lake as reported by the Japanese.
