In this connection it would be in- teresting to note that while most people imagine that the Y's men only foregather once a week for al luncheon party, much work is ac-. tually done behind the scenes for the betterment of mankind.
Being convinced that education is the need of the hour, the Hong Kong Y's Men's Club has adopted as its chief programme of service the night school for poor boys. Here they are taught to read and write and also other useful work. It's aim is to beneft as many boys as possible and there are now 35 boys in the night school, and since its inception over 200 boys have passed through.
