The Chancellor of the Exchequer was questioned in the House of Commons regarding the sharp fall in a number of commodity prices. Sir John Simon depreciated the exaggeration of recent movements, and said that the true position was that there had been in some certain setback. commodities This was no ground for saying that it would be permanent.
