Witness went on to say that later in the morning he met a detective. Chan Fat, and a friend in Hong Kong. Together they went back to his house where he related his story regarding the disappearance of the machine to the detective (Chan Fat), who was his clansman. He informed the detective that he suspected deceased and Wong Lap. They and went to deceased's cubicle questioned him. Deceased replied that he knew something about the theft and disclosed that it was Wong Lap who had stolen the articles. Deceased claimed to be an eye-witness, having seen Wong Lap actually taking the machine away."
Acting on this information the party went to look for Wong Lap. They met him on the way and to- gether went to the Shamshulpo Police Station.

On Thursday the 11th November the General Post Office and Kowloon Central Post Office will be open from 9 am to noon, The Sheungwan Branch Post Office.will be open from 9 am to 10 a.m. and the other Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed. Witness continued that Wong Lap and deceased were detained in the detectives' room from where they were led away individually to another room to be questioned. This occurred three times. De ceased had been kicked by a man named Chan Chun in the stomach as a result of which he was in Dains.
