Tam, the local barrister, died at Thomas and Mr W. N. Thomas
3 o'clock yesterday morning at the Queen Mary Hospital as the re- sult or severe injuries received in a motor accident at Sassoon Road, Pokfulum, a few hours previously.
The accident occurred shortly before midnight when the car, a Standard, licence No. 601. m which Miss Tam was being driveri by Mr.

Miss Tam suffered concusalon as well having several ribs broken. She was immediately conveyed to the Queen Mary Hospital, where she died three hours afterward. The car was very badly damaged.

The late Miss Tam was 23 years old and was on the teaching staff of St. Stephen's Girls' College. Extremely popular, she WAS LA active member of the Hong Kong Chinese Women's Soldiers' Relief Association.
THE FUNERAL
The funeral took place yestër- day afternoon at the Chinese Christian Cemetery, Pokfulum, and was attended by a large group of relatives and friends. The last Patrol Duty.
