Silver prices rose 1/16 yester- day for both deliveries, the quota- tions being 19 15/16 for Ready and 19 7/8 for Forward. Silver advices reported a little specula- tive buying. The market WLS 2101 quietly steady. American Silver
was quoted at 4 3/4 for Spot.
The London-New York cross- rate was quoted at 495.07. New York-London was quoted at 495- 1/8.
