TREASURY RETURNS
London, Oct. 19. Exchequer returns show that the total of ordinary revenue amounts to £340,700,334 as compared with €327,190.995 at the corresponding date last years. The difference of over £13,000.000 is accounted for by the increased inland revenue of nearly £12,000,0000 while the higher yield from Customs and Excise of over 28,000,000 is large- fall in mis- ly offset by the cellaneous receipts.
Ordinary expenditure, less self- balancing items, totals £457,041,- 628 as compared with £421.018.- 762 at the corresponding date of 1936.-
