TRAGIC DEATH
OF SHIP'S OFFICER
INQUEST VERDICT –
The inquest into the tragic death of Mr. E. V. N. Fuller, Second Omcer of the 8.9. Selston, who died from a bullet wound, concluded before Mr. W. Schofeld, sitting as Coroner at the Central Magistracy yesterday.
Dr. R. S. Bebgle, Medical Officer Victoria Mor- "in charge of the

FUNERAL OF
MRS. SILVA
The funeral took place yesterday at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. of Mrs. Virginia (Ica Rosa Vas Silva, who passed away at her re- sidence at No. 319. Nathan Road on Monday, The Rev. Fr. Rossi officlated at the graveside.
The late Mrs. Bilva is a widow and is survived by eight sONS. Messrs. P.M., F.E., L.G., F.X, D.L. LĄ. (in Shanghaif, George and Carlos Silva, and a daughter, Miss Emilia Silva, to whom the deepest sympathy is extended in their sad bereavement.

SNATCHER CAUGHT
Appearing before Mr. S. F. Bal- four yesterday at the Central Magistracy, Wong Kwong, aged 27, was charged with stealing an ear- ring from an aged woman, Tal Sheung. at Queen's Road West, near Eastern Street.
It was said by the prosecution that on Oct. 3 at about 1.30 p.m. the
