MACAO RACE MEETING

(Continued from Page 1

LLAMA MIAU PLATE ... There are only six entries fur this 5-furlong sprint for Macao sübs and Hohenfels is about the best of the field. Merry Maker and Falry Ousel are my fancies for the two remaining positions, If Coureur Bleu has fully recover ed from his reported lameness. this sub should not be neglected. OPORTO HANDICAP This is a handicap race for Hong Kong "D" and "E" Class ponles, First Section, and on pre- sent form there should be nothing to beat Laughing Girl.. Rumours are around to the effect that Laughing Cavalier is the dark one to follow but I do not bellevé him capable of beating his former stable-mate. Plain View and Stop- watch are also worth following es pecially since the latter is in at a very low weight and is quite fit at

the moment.

GEORGE POTTS' MEMORIAL CUT

The main event, of the day should produce quite a large field. Shanghal 4 with 180 lbs. to carry appears on paper to be handicap- ped out of it but if the race is slow over the first three-quarters of the tile this champlon Macao sub will make fight of it over the last bit and will take some beating.
