Experiments on the cultivation of tobacco have been conducted. by the Malayan Department of Agriculture for several years, and an account of what has been done at the Central Experiment Station. Serdang, is given in the Journal.
The conclusion reached is that the climate of Malaya sun- suitable for the production of a high-grade cigarette tobacco.
