HONG KONG MURDER
MYSTERY
Midnight Tragedy On A Sampan
Who killed Ip Wah, the 29-year-old vegetable hawker who died as the result of a stab wound in the back on the night of June 26 last at Po Tai?
Was it Leung Kan, who appeared before Sir Atholl MacGregor, the Chief Justice, at the Criminal Sessions yesterday on a charge of murder, who committed the deed? Was it his hand that held the knife which extinguished the life of this hard working man and dutini son?
These are the questions which confront the common Jury who are helping the Chlef Justice to unravel the case.
Sir Atholl MacGregor, K.C.

the property of the Hong Kong Government. Later, it is alleged Leung Kan asked Ip Wah for money. Ip. Wah replled that he could not pay as bis business was very small. The upshot of it was
