COMMAND OF THE DIOMEDE

Commander R. F. Morice took command on August 12, of the Diomede, which is reverting to the Reserve Fleet at the Nore after a trooping cruise to China and back under the command of Captain A. R. Halfhide. Commander Morice has hitherto been executive officer

of the Colombo, Sentör Officer's ship in the Reserve Fleet at De- vonport. ""He served during the War in the battleships Neptune

and Queen, and from 1915 in sub-
