Shanghai, Aug. 25. The officially announced Japan- ese estimate of 100 soldiers killed during Monday's landing opera- tions at Woosung is ridiculed by the Chinese, who claim that ter- ric loss of life among the Japan- ese was caused by the explosion of land mines.
