CHOLERA CASE IN POLICE CELL
The discovery of case of cholera in a cell at West Point Po- Lice Station yesterday caused awift measures to be taken to prevent the infection of contacts.
The victim was Chan Sang, an unlicensed hawker.
As a result of the case, Ave other hawkers, a beggar and three others not detained for larceny were takm to the Central Magistracy the advice of the yesterday on Medical Officer.
They were remanded for 48 hours and are being treated...
Chan Bang was removed to the Queen Mary Hospital at 4.45 this inoming and was later transferred to the Kennedy Town Hospital
