Imports of soya beans aimounted to no less than 96 per cent. in value of Germany's imports from Manchukuo. During the first four months of this year they totalled 211,889, tons, valued at Rm.21,- 800,000 (£1,816,000),
Soya beans form the main con- tituent of German ollcake, and are further used for salad oil, for manufacturing technical oils, as well as. for the preparation of synthetic rubber.
