L complished them in 2, 3, 3, but last them all. Despite this they took the match to the 18th, an- other one-shot hole, which they also lost though not conceding a stroke. A win here in three gave Miss Wilson and Miss Garnham victory by 3, and 2. Miss Pam Barton, partnered by Mra P Garon, had an interesting match 'against J. J. F. Pennink and G. A Hill. The ladies won the first three holes, but then the men made a great fight. After his side had turned two down, H holed a putt of seven yards for a two at the short 11th, but the ladies won' the hole when, running down a four yards' putt, Miss Barton gave her side a net one. The men took the 12th, lost the next when bun- kered, and won the 14th in four. Miss Barton and Mrs. Garen, stii two up, secured halves at the next three holes to win the match by 2 and 1.
